  • Current activities

I am studying theory and aesthetics of Theatre through the ages and more particularly from the nineteenth century to nowadays at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon.

My field of research is the relation between video and dramaturgy in contemporary productions and stage writing. I wrote a first master thesis which subject was « Dramaturgie du miroir : pour une poétique du théâtre vidéo-augmenté » (Mirrors in Hamlet : poetics of a video-augmented theatre). I am currently working on a second master thesis about the concepts of image, liveness and presence.

I also worked with two co-creators on an adaptation of French play Lorenzaccio written by Alfred de Musset. The editing and rewriting process resulted in Lorenzaccio – compostdramatique, a show that we performed on March, 19-20-21st 2013.

Therefore, I am willing to continue to confront my theoretical knowledge to the practical world of staging, dramaturgy, writing, video work or scenography.

  • Other

On summers, I usually work in French administrations (public revenue office, town hall, recruitment agency…) as a temporary employee, where I must write mails, welcome visitors or handle logistics. I also worked at the ANR (National Agency for Research) for six months, where I was to organize seminaries for social sciences academics.

I am also familiar with the use of several softwares, such as the Office Suite or Open Office, and am an advanced user of Photoshop.

Additionally, I like to read Flaubert, Faulkner or Fitzgerald, to write many things in tiny notebooks, to take pictures of details and sceneries with disposables cameras as well as to listen to people passing by or to lose me in unknown cities.
